iPIX images by CALTIM Designs are totally
immersive, interactive images viewable online or
from a CD-ROM. They are completely 360° in every
direction so there are no "dead spots"
as in panoramic images. Each iPIX image is
produced from two high-quality 180° flat images
shot onsite by CALTIM Designs.
Go ahead and move your mouse over the
Java-based iPIX image on the far right above and
different cursors will appear:
Allows you to click and drag to control movement
around the image
and 
become active when you move your mouse pointer
near the center of the image. Moving just above
the center activates the zoom in feature, and
moving the point just below the center activates
the zoom out feature (just click to zoom).
You may see slightly different icons depending
on your computer's operating system (e.g.,
Windows or MacOS), but the same functionality is
built into every iPIX image. The iPIX image
above requires no plug-in, only a Java-enabled
Web browser such as Netscape 4.x or Internet
Explorer/AOL 4.x. The higher resolution plug-in
versions are truly amazing and can be viewed in
our iPIX
Gallery.
This amazing technology creates images that download
quickly, realistically show an entire
environment, and can be viewed by anyone.
Again, iPIX images do not require a plug-in --
lower-resolution Java-compatible images like the
one above can be viewed with a fourth generation
Web browser. The plug-in is required only to view
the higher-resolution standard iPIX images.

the older panoramic style images. Be sure to know
what you are paying for! CALTIM Designs only
produces professionally shot and edited Full 360°
iPIX images.
